Prime Air is seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Flight Monitor to join our dynamic team. This critical role is central to our commitment to delivering packages safely, efficiently, and reliably through our advanced drone fleet. The Flight Monitor will be responsible for real-time monitoring of drone flights, ensuring operational compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing our state-of-the-art monitoring systems


Identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters.
Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
Coordinate effectively with the relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies. Provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement.
Utilize excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills while maintaining a high attention to detail in all tasks.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while working effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Adhere to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
This role requires the ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
This role requires the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
This role may require travel, up to 25% of the time
Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
This position will be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA. Federal law also requires Amazon to determine an applicant's DOT drug and/or alcohol testing history prior to hiring him/her into a position that would require them to conduct safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.
