Manager (Remote)
About the Role:
We are seeking an energetic and versatile Client Services Manager (CSM) with a HubSpot focus to join our growing team. This role requires someone who thrives on ownership; managing client relationships, coordinating and delegating across a team, planning capacity, and keeping budgets on track. You will work closely with a team of managers, developers, designers, and technical marketers, ensuring projects run smoothly and clients receive an exceptional experience from engagement through delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Advocacy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and updates, primarily over Zoom. Be an expert and advocate for your clients' HubSpot instance. Ensure clients receive the highest level of service, value, and performance.

Project & Resource Management
  • Manage project timelines, calendars, and goals for teams and clients using our project management tool, Wrike. Plan team capacity and allocate resources across active client work, adjusting as priorities shift. Delegate tasks to designers, developers, and technical marketers, and hold the team accountable to deadlines and quality.

Client Budget Management
  • Track project and retainer budgets against scope, flagging risks before they become overages. Manage hours/spend across client accounts and communicate budget status internally and to clients as needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to keep everyone aligned. Manage, motivate, and collaborate with vendors and agency partners.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an agency setting, managing 5-7 client accounts, focusing on technical projects including, integrations, APIs, CRMs, HubSpot, Salesforce.
  • Project Management: Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including capacity planning and resource allocation across a team.
  • Delegation & Team Leadership: Experience delegating work to and managing the output of designers, developers, or other team members; comfortable holding people accountable to deadlines without doing the work themselves.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing project or retainer budgets, tracking spend/hours against scope, and communicating budget status to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Ownership: Loves to take complete ownership of projects and their career, with a strong internal drive and pride in being "on top of it." Creates a sense of comfort for clients by being proactive and reliable.
  • Technical Savvy: Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM/marketing automation platform (Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot); strong understanding of Google, Facebook, and other advertising platforms. Exposure to integrations, API projects, or similar technical implementation work is a plus - candidates should understand how these types of projects are typically carried out and have supported at least one in some capacity. HubSpot experience is strongly preferred and existing HubSpot fluency will be a factor in evaluating candidates.
