Some Job Responsibilities:

Conduct oversight of initial AMAP certifications and annual AMAP recertifications as assigned.

  • Observe and evaluate employee's competency during medication pouring.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of documentation.
  • Provide timely and effective communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Follow OPWDD AMAP certification guidelines and agency policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained to managed medication safely.
  • Travel to sites as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Valid NYS RN License.
  • Experience with OPWDD regulations and policies.
  • Knowledge of OPWDD AMAP program.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as (but not limited to); twisting, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing.
  • Must be able to sit, walk, and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Experience:

  • OPWDD : 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • NYS RN License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (Required)
