Job description

Day Habilitation Program Supervisor 

Waystone is currently seeking a Day Habilitation Program Supervisor to manage daily operations and ensure the delivery of safe, compliant services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating program activities, and maintaining regular communication with families and guardians. 

Location: Haverhill, MA (Day Habilitation Program)   

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm 

Compensation range: This is a 40-hour, non-exempt, full-time position. The annualized salary range is between $55,000 - $57,000. This position is a benefit eligible as of date of hire.

Job Responsibilities:   

  • Hire, supervise,evaluateand trainCaseManagersandDevelopmentalSpecialists. 
  • Create and implement curriculumsand activitiesthatsupportthe interests and needs ofindividuals served,their ISP goals and compliant withState, Federal andagency regulations. 
  • Coordinate monthly Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to ensure clinical (OT, PT, SLP),medical and behavioral support services are provided to coincide with identified needs, including training and proper signoffs. 
  • Ensuretimely submission of program data forindividuals receiving services. 
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing review of Day Habilitation Service Plans (DHSPs), Individual Support Plans (ISPs), and Behavior Support Guidelinesand ensure all goals andobjectivesare clinicallyappropriate, person-centered, and aligned with medical, behavioral, and therapeutic assessments. 
  • Monitor and reinforce consistent implementation of approved strategies and interventions to promote positive outcomes, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care 

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate referral and intake processes, including tours, documentation, funding communication, and finance notifications. 
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CARF, OQE, DDS, MH, ABI, and agency policies. 
  • Partner with the Director and Community Engagement Coordinator to ensure services are memberdriven and aligned with Positive Behavior Supports. 
  • Assist with development and monitoring of the annual department budget. 
  • Oversee facility safety, cleanliness, inventory, and serve as liaison with families/guardians to promote community involvement. 
  • Participate in inspections, audits, quality reviews, newsletters, and complete all required trainings and certifications.  

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree inHumanServicesorrelated fieldwith at leastthree(3)years of experience within the field ofID/DD orHigh School Diploma or GED with at least five(5)years of experience within the field ofID/DD. 
  • Bilingualproficiencyin English and Spanish preferred. 
  • Minimumoftwo(2)yearsofsupervisory experience. 
  • Minimum of two(2)yearsofexperience implementing,developingandmonitoringIndividual Service Plans or similar plans. 
  • Familiarity with the Positive Behavior Supports model by DDS a plus 
  • Experience working withElectronic Health Records(EHR)platforms, such aseHana, with the ability to learn and navigate new systems effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office technology; able to handle confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Valid Driver’s license with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experiencerequired. 
  • Regular and predicable attendance.
