Job description

Principle duties and responsibilities
2nd shift
  • Production:
    • Monday-Friday, some Saturday possible; 2:30pm-11:00pm (end time variable)
    • Perform panning and racking of dough in a timely and accurate manner
    • Perform moving racks from loading to proof box
    • Assist with tracking and panning as needed
  • Packaging:
    • Monday-Friday, some Saturday possible; 4:00pm-12:30am (end time variable)
    • Perform bagging of product in a timely and accurate manner
    • Perform tracking of product to eliminate out of spec product
    • Assist with tracking, bagging, and labeling product
    • Perform pan dumping in a timely manner without smashing product
  • Follow all company guidelines
  • Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and procedures
    • Report safety incident to supervisor/management immediately
    • Report food safety concerns to supervisor/management immediately

Other duties and responsibilities
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Participate in plant audit and inspection preparation
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical demands
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly, up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Be able to push or pull up to 200 pounds on wheeled equipment
  • Be able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching
  • Be able to stand for majority of shift
  • Be able to read/write in English
  • Be able to work in high ambient temperatures

Qualifications required
  • Education
    • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience
    • Six (6) months food manufacturing experience preferred
