Overall Purpose of the Position
This position will work with cross functional teams for power MOSFET product definition, validation, promotion and trouble shooting. Must have knowledge of power electronics, Si device field, hands-on development experience in prototype built in MHz DC/DC converter.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  1. Specify key MOSFET parameters for DC/DC converter
  2. Validation the performance power device in DC/DC converter
  3. Gain customer and application knowledge and understand power MOSFET usage in end application
  4. Benchmarking of competitor's parts and writing promotion materials such as evaluation report, application notes
  5. Evaluation board built up
  6. System simulation model built up

Qualifications

  1. MS (Ph.D preferred) in Electrical Engineering
  2. Knowledgeable in power conversion topologies, power device, magnetics and control loop design
  3. Lab skills in using Oscilloscope, function generators and test equipment
  4. Experience with Matlab/Simulink, SIMetrix, Pspice/Ltspice, Ansys simulation
  5. Good communication skills
  6. Team player
