We specialize in armed guards, unarmed guards, patrol service, and mobile patrols. Our security officers will work seamlessly as a part of our team to secure premises, customers, employees, assets and everything in between.

Position Overview
Allstate Security is seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers for a retail client in Los Angeles. This is a high-visibility retail position focused on maintaining a safe environment, deterring unwanted behavior, and protecting store assets while delivering excellent customer service. Officers are expected to maintain a visible and professional presence, greet customers upon entry, and support store operations while remaining aware of their surroundings at all times. This position operates under a strict observe and report model. Officers are not permitted to detain, accuse, or physically engage with any individual. Any suspicious activity must be reported immediately to store management. Officers must handle situations professionally, including responding to alarm activations by directing customers back to staff without confrontation or physical contact. Strong professionalism is required at all times. Officers must remain courteous, avoid distractions, and follow all client post instructions. Duties include monitoring entrances, maintaining awareness of store activity, completing reports, and coordinating with store management to ensure safety and compliance with all site expectations.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence at all times
  • Greet customers upon entry and thank them upon exit
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and overall store activity
  • Observe and report suspicious activity to store management
  • Deter theft and disruptive behavior through presence and awareness
  • Complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
  • Follow all post instructions and direction from store management
  • Unpaid meal breaks per company policy.

Client-Specific Rules (Strictly Enforced)
  • No weapons of any kind are permitted
  • No physical contact with customers or staff
  • Do not detain, accuse, or confront suspected shoplifters
  • Do not chase or follow individuals
  • Operate under an observe and report model only

Operational Expectations
  • Check in with the store manager at the start of each shift
  • Remain alert and maintain awareness of surroundings
  • No phone use, texting, or personal activity while on duty
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Coordinate breaks with store management
  • Do not leave post until properly relieved
  • Report all incidents, hazards, and concerns immediately
