Job Details
Position Summary
Allstate Security is seeking professional, detail-oriented Unarmed Security Officers to represent our team at a luxury hotel property in La Jolla, CA. In this role, you will maintain a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for guests, staff, and resort property without the use of firearms. This position requires maintaining a high level of professionalism, strong customer service skills, and adherence to strict uniform and appearance standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular, active physical foot patrols throughout the hotel grounds, guest areas, and perimeter.
  • Serve as a visible, professional, unarmed deterrent to unauthorized activity while delivering premium customer service to guests and staff.
  • Utilize mobile devices, reporting apps, and security software for incident logging, patrol tracking, and communications.
  • Monitor access points, respond promptly to safety concerns or medical emergencies, and complete clear incident reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members, management, and hotel guests during shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active California Guard Card (Required).
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications (Required).
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods of time throughout the shift.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable operating technology, including smartphones, tablet devices, and security monitoring apps.
  • Hospitality Experience: Previous experience working in hotel, luxury resort, or guest-facing customer service environments preferred.
  • Bilingual Skills: Fluency in English and a second language (e.g., Spanish) is a strong plus.
  • Shift Availability: Flexible availability for as-needed coverage, including early mornings (0600-1400) and overnight/graveyard shifts (2200-0600).
