Allied Technical Services is looking for an Industrial Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and field equipment across the Cincinnati area. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and seeing something different every day. You'll be provided a company vehicle, tools, training, and the opportunity to help grow a specialized service team.

What You'll Do:

  • Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues in the field.
  • Diagnose PLC, motor control, VFD, and control panel problems.
  • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Respond to service calls and restore equipment operation.
  • Support municipal and industrial customers.
  • Complete service documentation and communicate directly with customers.
  • Work independently using a company service vehicle.

What We're Looking For:

  • Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with motor controls, drives, relays, and control circuits
  • Able to read electrical schematics.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license

Bonus Points For:

  • Allen Bradley or Rockwell experience
  • SCADA exposure
  • Water/wastewater experience
  • Field service background
