Annual attendance bonus in accordance with the Transportation Handbook
Responsibilities of Bus Supervisor (Bus Aides)
1. Understand the route and remain alert to monitor the welfare of passengers.
2. Assist in the loading and unloading procedures.
3. Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, students and parents.
4. Check and account for all student passengers and maintain order on the
school bus.
5. Make certain students are seated promptly after boarding the bus and remain
seated until the bus reaches its destination.
6. Assist students in wheelchairs and apply safety and restraining devices as
needed.
7. Assist students on and off the bus to prevent accident or injury and guide
them to cross the street safely.
8. Enroll in CPR training class when offered by District.
