Position Summary

At Alchemy Face Bar, our Receptionistsknown as First Impressionistsare the heart of the guest experience. As the first and last point of contact, they create meaningful first impressions while ensuring every client feels welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their visit.

This role serves as the face of the spa by delivering exceptional hospitality, managing front desk operations, and supporting the day-to-day flow of the business. From scheduling appointments and coordinating client communications to assisting with retail sales and supporting service providers, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a seamless, elevated client experience.

Key Responsibilities

+ Welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and personalized hospitality.

+ Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments using the Zenoti booking system.

+ Manage efficient client check-in and check-out while maintaining accurate client records.

+ Answer incoming phone calls, emails, text messages, and online inquiries promptly and professionally.

+ Educate clients on memberships, promotions, services, and skincare products.

+ Process retail and service transactions accurately.

+ Support estheticians and providers by ensuring smooth operational flow throughout the day.

+ Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout reception and guest areas.

+ Assist with inventory management, stocking retail displays, laundry, and other operational tasks.

+ Open and close the spa following established procedures.

+ Resolve client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach.

+ Participate in continuing education and stay informed about Alchemy services, products, and industry trends.

+ Uphold Alchemy Face Bar's values while helping create an exceptional experience for every guest.

Qualifications

+ Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, salon, spa, or medical office experience preferred.

+ Experience using scheduling software (Zenoti experience is a plus).

+ Comfortable working with computers, point-of-sale systems, email, and texting platforms.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

+ Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Availability Requirements

Approximate Schedule (32- 36 hours/week)

Compensation

$21.00$25.00 per hour | basedon experience.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (810 hours per shift).

+ Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and perform routine physical tasks.

+ Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 15 pounds and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
