What You’ll Do

As the Compliance & Clinical Education Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for compliance protocols, audit readiness, medical records governance, and clinical education initiatives across the organization.

Leadership & Operations

  • Lead compliance, regulatory readiness, and clinical education functions across the agency
  • Lead and supervise the team with excellence, integrity and enthusiasm
  • Support survey readiness initiatives and serve as backup Survey Liaison during active surveys
  • Collaborate with other members of leadership to maintain compliant, effective policies and procedures
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Manage departmental priorities, communication, and operational performance

Compliance Management

  • Oversee health information and medical records processes to ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Ensure accurate and timely release of information and documentation management
  • Partner with billing teams to support compliant hospice claim submissions
  • Monitor evolving regulations and implement operational changes proactively
  • Support internal and external audit preparation and response efforts

Clinical Education

  • Lead the team in development and implementation of a comprehensive clinical education program
  • Use data-driven insights to identify educational needs and improve staff performance
  • Review and update policies annually to align with best practices and regulatory standards

Collaboration & Culture

  • Work closely with leadership and Quality teams to ensure consistent regulatory messaging and education
  • Implement training related to policy changes, plans of correction, and new initiatives
  • Promote Trellis Supportive Care’s mission, values, and commitment to compassionate service

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Management, Healthcare Administration, or related healthcare field — or equivalent experience and training
  • Prior healthcare management experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of hospice philosophy and care for terminally ill patients
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience with adult learning principles and clinical education delivery
  • Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to present training effectively to both groups and individuals
