Job description

Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in Alaska for over 60 years, is seeking a dedicated Delivery Merchandiser to join our team serving the Wasilla and Palmer, AK areas. As a Delivery Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring our products are delivered and displayed to the highest standards, supporting our reputation for excellent customer service. This is a full-time position offering stability, growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer orders to retail locations in the Wasilla and Palmer areas, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Merchandise store shelves, coolers, and displays by rotating products and removing unsellable items to maintain product quality and presentation.
  • Maintain and organize backstock areas, ensuring a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Work closely with the RSR Lead to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, including credit/debit adjustments, payment processing, and proof of delivery documentation.
  • Provide coverage for the RSR Lead during absences or vacations as needed.
  • Check in products with each customer’s receiver upon delivery.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferably two years of experience in delivery and merchandising roles.
  • Familiarity with operating non-CDL box trucks and willingness to learn relevant regulations.
  • Current driver’s license required.
  • Ability to obtain a valid DOT physical.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening.
Compensation

$23.00 per hour plus participation in a sales bonus program.
