Job description

Airport Construction Flagger - Colorado Springs, CO (Colorado Springs Airport – COS) 

Pay: $20–$24/hour (DOE) 

Type: Full-time, Temporary (3–4 months; possible transition to future Native Sun projects) 

Native Sun is hiring Flaggers for a construction project at Colorado Springs Airport. Flagger Certification nice to have but not required. Looking for reliable, safety-minded individuals for this 3–4 month project, with the possibility of continued work afterward. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Direct traffic using STOP/SLOW paddles and signaling devices 
  • Set up and maintain cones, barricades, and traffic control devices per site plan 
  • Follow TCS instructions and adjust to changing site/weather conditions 
  • Maintain airport ID badge and comply with security protocols 

Requirements: 

  • No flagger certification needed — training provided 
  • Able to pass TSA background check and obtain airport SIDA badge 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 
  • Able to stand outdoors for long periods in all weather
