Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for talent acquisition marketing efforts including promotion and management of events and conferences, external email marketing efforts as well as work in collaboration to plan and implement a proactive recruitment strategy. The Marketing Specialist impacts PSA's corporate identity; shaping the brand/image of who we are and aiding in our company growth.
Job Responsibilities
  • Drive PSA's brand across talent acquisition platforms.
  • Support the talent acquisition team through collateral development to generate leads and promote recruiting events.
  • Support communications initiatives through content development.
  • Support newsletter initiatives for the company and departments.
  • Create graphics for social, email, marketing collateral and website for talent acquisition team and ad-hoc internal marketing initiatives and ensure that they align with PSA brand standards.
  • Manage content updates on external website to ensure the site is accurate.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors on branding and marketing initiatives.
  • Convey a sense of community and build our following based on valuable content and mutual sharing.
  • Support SEO & Digital Advertising efforts.
  • Develop written content for a variety of platforms for internal and external audiences.
  • Use creative means to drive strong engagement and organic growth of all marketing mediums.
  • Help identify opportunities that will promote growth on social media sites
  • Creatively support marketing campaigns, including marketing/new concepts, community-building efforts and promotions.
  • Consistently optimize results by measuring, assessing, evaluating and adjusting campaigns.
  • Partner with recruiters and sourcing to segment, qualify and nurture leads through candidate relationship management (CRM) platform.
  • Perform competitive and market research to inform strategies and tactics.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Specifics
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations or 3 years of marketing and/or communications experience
  • Proven experience using marketing software
  • 2+ years of experience using design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) or Canva
  • Experience in developing and executing CRM programs, including email marketing, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Experience developing and creating digital, video and/or interactive content
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to demonstrate right to work in the US.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations.
  • HTML Experience.
  • Google Ads Certification.

Travel: Travel is required for this position
