Team JAS is seeking a results-driven aviation MRO Sales & Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth within our FAA-approved Repair Operations. Based in Jacksonville, FL, this role is responsible for expanding our repair capabilities, strengthening key customer partnerships, and driving profitable growth across our global customer base of airlines, OEMs, and MRO providers.
The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, a proactive business development mindset, and the ability to identify market opportunities that align with Team JAS's technical capabilities and long-term growth strategy. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and expanding our MRO portfolio while ensuring exceptional service and value for our customers.

About The Position:
The MRO Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for the revenue growth of the MRO business. That includes maintaining market knowledge for current Team JAS FAA-Approved Repair Capabilities and leading the identification and justification for adding new repair capabilities. This position is responsible for maintaining an up-to-date portfolio of products/services by customers and assisting with customer quote approvals (fair market value). Those in this position are required to become knowledgeable about industry-standard processes and requirements. MRO Business Development will be very knowledgeable about Team JAS's repair products and services.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue and profit goals established.
  • Identify and promote new repair capabilities that align with our general capabilities (people and equipment).
  • Ensure we provide industry-leading service and support to our customers.
  • Travel to Customer(s), Conferences, and Trade Shows as directed by the President.
  • Correspond with select customers (as needed) via email, phone, for strategic partnerships, new capabilities or support issues.
  • Continuously develop and grow customer relationships at all levels.
  • Support Team JAS ERP System (Quantum Control) integrity and accuracy related to MRO.
  • Gather information regarding airline fleets and possible changes to the fleets.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company personnel.
  • Present and sell company MRO services to current and potential clients.
  • Follow up with key MRO customers to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Assist accounting with the collection of outstanding invoices, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Aviation or Aerospace, with direct involvement in MRO sales, aviation aftermarket sales, account management, or customer service supporting repair operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Education: Associate degree or higher preferred (Business, Engineering preferred), or equivalent industry experience such as FAA A&P certification and proven MRO business development success.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of FAA regulations, repair station operations, aircraft components, and industry-standard MRO processes, particularly within commercial and regional aviation.
  • Business Development Expertise: Proven track record of driving revenue growth, identifying profitable repair opportunities, analyzing airline fleet and market data, and successfully selling MRO services and spare parts.
  • Systems & Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Quantum Control preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to build relationships at all organizational levels
  • Work Style: Self-directed, results-oriented professional able to operate with minimal supervision while consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals.

The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with a solid background in aviation or aerospace, specifically within Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul. They will have at least 3 years of experience in MRO sales or customer service, with a proven ability to manage customer accounts, grow revenue, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
This individual thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment, is highly organized, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. They possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and are comfortable interfacing with customers at all levels - from procurement specialists to technical managers and executives.
They must be proactive in identifying new business opportunities, skilled in both in-person and remote relationship management, and capable of independent decision-making while collaborating effectively with internal departments. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in quotes, customer records, and order follow-ups.
Finally, they are someone willing and able to travel for customer visits, conferences, and trade shows as needed, representing Team JAS with professionalism and technical expertise.
