Job Description

This role focuses on performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on corporate aircraft, with a strong emphasis on Cessna, Citation, and Hawker models. The Aircraft Mechanic ensures aircraft are maintained to high safety and reliability standards by carrying out inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on corporate aircraft, primarily Cessna, Citation, and Hawker models, in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft systems, structures, and components to identify wear, defects, or potential issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and systems-related problems, determining the root cause and appropriate corrective actions.
  • Carry out repairs and component replacements using approved methods, tools, and technical data.
  • Perform line maintenance activities, including turnarounds, routine checks, and minor repairs to keep aircraft in service.
  • Use personal hand tools and equipment to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Document all maintenance performed in accordance with regulatory and internal documentation requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, including occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and maintenance best practices to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Support the transition to new maintenance schedules and adapt to changing operational needs.

Essential Skills

  • 2โ€“4 years of hands-on experience maintaining corporate aircraft.
  • Experience performing both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
  • Practical maintenance experience on Cessna, Citation, and Hawker aircraft, or other similar corporate aircraft.
  • Current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Proficiency in aircraft repair techniques and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing aircraft mechanical and systems issues.
  • Experience with line maintenance, including routine checks and on-call support.
  • Ability to provide and effectively use personal tools required for aircraft maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

Until the new schedule is fully implemented, there may be occasional evening and weekend work to support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) needs. Work takes place in a hangar and line maintenance environment, using standard aircraft maintenance tools and equipment. Appropriate work attire suitable for an active maintenance hangar is required to ensure safety and professionalism.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
