Air Logistics Warehouse Specialist

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. As the Air Logistics Warehouse Specialistyou you will handle and monitor all QuickSTAT consignments ensuring compliance with all agreed Company policies. Preforming assigned duties, while working collaboratively with all internal departments to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
How you create impact
  • Process all Import and Export consignments as they transit through the JFK facility
  • Upon receipt of consignments at QSTAT, all consignments must undertake our "Goods In" process in our internal system of documentation review, check piece count, weight, dimension and, where required, re-icing
  • Upon departure of consignments at QSTAT, all consignments must undertake our "Goods Out" process in our internal system of documentation review, piece count, dimension and, where required, re-icing
  • Selection and preparation of temperature-controlled packaging solutions from our onsite inventory to include (PCM / Liquid Nitrogen and Dry Ice solutions) in conjunction with client requirements
  • Selection and preparation of temperature loggers and GPS trackers from our onsite inventory in conjunction with client requirements Performing and recording of quality checks made of the reusable temperature-controlled packaging solutions in our inventory
  • Shared responsibility for the cleaning, re-stocking and system updates associated to and required for the re-usable packaging inventory
  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Industry experience ensuring ability to undertake all tasks / responsibilities listed above
