As a key driver of customer success, the Air Logistics Customer Care Supervisor partners closely with the Customer Care Manager to inspire and elevate the local Customer Care Location (CCL) team. This role is pivotal in strengthening customer relationships, expanding the client base, and delivering best-in-class service experiences that differentiate the organization in the market. With a strong focus on commercial ownership and operational excellence, the Team Leader empowers the team to proactively identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and enhance customer satisfaction. By aligning with the broader Customer Care strategy, this role ensures consistent service quality while driving profitability and sustainable growth.

How you create impact
  • Lead and develop the CCL team to deliver excellent customer service, achieve KPIs, and drive growth and profitability.
  • Manage customer allocation and performance to ensure balanced workloads and strong results.
  • Champion customer ownership, fostering a proactive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
  • Serve as the main point of contact and leader for the local/national team, ensuring alignment with strategy and successful change adoption.
  • Customer Growth & Profitability: Drive retention, upselling, and commercial performance.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure clear communication, service excellence, and delivery on commitments.
  • Operations & Onboarding: Oversee onboarding, shipment readiness, and compliance.
  • Data & Systems: Maintain accurate customer data, rates, and credit health.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage complaints, claims, and escalations through to resolution.
What we would like you to bring
  • 2+ years of forwarding experience
  • 1+ years of leadership experience
  • 2+ years of Air Logistics experience within a forwarding environment
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Proven ability in customer communication and escalation handling
  • Customer service excellence and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Experience in Air Logistics shipment execution and monitoring (import/export)
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills, including MS Office and data handling proficiency
  • Proficiency in Kuehne+Nagel customerfacing digital tools
  • Understanding of freight forwarding regulations and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of GCIM Air Logistics and Kuehne+Nagel internal systems
