Job description

ActioNet is seeking a Laborer to join our team in Multiple CONUS sites across Vienna, VA; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Zanesville, OH; Blue Ash, OH; Bangor, ME; Chattanooga, TN; Alcoa, TN; Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Battle Creek, MI; Portsmouth, NH.

 In this role, you will Assists engineers and technicians with placement of infrastructure components, pre-configuration. Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation site to aid daily operations

Responsibilities

  • Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation to aid daily operations.
  •  Assists in movement of equipment, racks, boxes, pallets. Assists in cleanup and restoration of facilities to pre-install conditions.
  • Disposes of waste materials. Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved ISP/OSP solution.
  • Operates hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. 
  • May clean and prepare sites; dig trenches; set braces to support the sides of excavations; erect scaffolding; and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
  • Assists in the installation of ISP/OSP cabling, installation of racks/cabinets and equipment.
  • Racks and stacks network devices. 
  • Performs cable dressing, labeling, and documentation. Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree: High School diploma;
  • Experience: 5 years;
  • Specific Skills: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds;
