Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity to help students navigate their educational journeys? Tohono O'odham Community College (TOCC) is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Financial Aid Assistant to join our Student Services division.

Reporting directly to the Financial Aid Manager, you will serve as a primary resource for students seeking guidance on financial assistance programs, helping them understand requirements while keeping our backend office operations running efficiently. This role requires high attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to strict confidentiality. Hiring Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00 an hour

What You Will Do:

  • Guide students regarding Federal and State educational programs, financial aid benefits, institutional rules, and academic progress policies.
  • Collect and verify crucial financial aid data and documentation submitted by students for processing.
  • Maintain and update department forms, physical files, student records, and student profiles across external reporting networks.
  • Prepare and process applications, formal records, and office documentation.
  • Strictly maintain the security of student financial records and information in absolute compliance with FERPA guidelines.
  • Actively champion and integrate the T-So:son (Our Core Values) into daily interactions:
  • Perform other administrative duties of a similar nature or level as assigned.
