5. Research & Thought Leadership

  • Stay current on global AI regulations, standards, and industry trends.
  • Analyze new developments and advise leadership on strategic implications.
  • Contribute to training materials and awareness programs on responsible AI.

In essence, this role operationalizes governance on a daily basis; intake, risk, controls, so the program can scale across all the AI workflows without being bottlenecked.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, etc.).
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy laws, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Prior work with model documentation tools or AI auditing processes.

Core Competencies

  • Ethical reasoning - ability to identify and evaluate complex tradeoffs.
  • Systems thinking - understanding how AI systems interact with people, processes, and policies.
  • Risk mindset - comfort assessing uncertainty and proposing safeguards.
  • Clear communication - translating technical concepts into accessible language.
  • Adaptability - navigating a fastmoving regulatory and technological landscape.
