Position Overview
The Part-Time Instructor for Anthropic Claude (AI Systems & Applications) plays a key role in delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences to adult learners enrolled in our online programs.
Instructors facilitate curriculum content focused on Claude-based AI workflows, prompt engineering, and real-world applications, support student learning, and connect technical concepts to industry use cases.
Classes are delivered 100% online in a synchronous format.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Student Engagement
  • Deliver assigned lessons aligned with curriculum learning objectives and session plans
  • Facilitate engaging live online instruction using best practices for adult learners
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Anthropic Claude and applied AI systems
  • Teach prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, and LLM-based application use cases
  • Connect course content to real-world applications such as automation, copilots, and business use cases
  • Encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving

Student Support & Mentorship
  • Provide individualized student support during live sessions and office hours
  • Maintain regular communication regarding progress and milestones
  • Respond to student and staff communications professionally and promptly
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback on assignments and projects

Performance Monitoring
  • Evaluate student progress based on deliverables and rubrics
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student engagement and performance
  • Identify and escalate academic concerns
  • Support performance improvement plans when necessary

Collaboration & Professional Conduct
  • Adhere to institutional policies and instructional standards
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment
  • Serve as a mentor and role model
  • Collaborate with instructional teams to improve learning experiences
  • Represent the organization professionally

Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field AND 6+ years of experience in AI systems, LLMs, or applied AI, OR
  • 6+ years of professional experience in AI systems, LLM applications, or related fields

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong expertise in Claude, prompt engineering, and LLM-based applications
  • Understanding of AI workflows, automation, and real-world use cases
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Professionalism and ethical conduct

Work Schedule
  • 16-30 hours per week

Compensation
  • $80 per hour (Including Content creation)
  • Part-Time, Non-Exempt classification
  • Paid in accordance with applicable wage laws
