Artificial Intelligence Instructor

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Downtown) — On-site

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week

Pay: $50–$65 per hour

Type: Contract-to-Hire


Overview

A national union academic and workforce training center is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Instructor to teach a 12-week, hands-on program focused on generative AI, creative technology, and AI-assisted media production. The instructor will develop and deliver engaging in-person lessons for students and working professionals across construction, engineering, electrical, and building-management industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a 12-week course syllabus
  • Teach practical generative AI and creative-production workflows
  • Lead classroom demonstrations, workshops, and project critiques
  • Mentor students and provide actionable feedback
  • Explain technical concepts in an accessible way
  • Cover ethical, legal, and professional considerations involving AI-generated content
  • Collaborate with program leadership to maintain curriculum quality

Required Qualifications

  • Professional teaching, training, or instructional experience
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and workflows
