Salary:

The Agnes Irwin School, an all-girls' Pre-K through 12th grade independent school in the Philadelphia suburbs, is seeking a part-time Varsity Soccer Assistant Coach beginning August 24, 2026. Providing its students with a rigorous academic education, AIS is dedicated to developing each student's highest potential in intellect, character, and physical well-being. This position will be responsible for developing the Upper School soccer program under the direction of the Varsity Soccer Coach and Athletic Directors. Successful candidates will be committed to fostering the intellectual and personal growth of students through the mission of The Agnes Irwin School and its Core Values of Strive for Excellence, Lead with Character, Nurture Passions and Wellbeing, Foster Trust and Community, and Respect and Celebrate All.


he successful candidate will possess:

  • Soccer coaching or teaching experience; previous competitive soccer experience preferred
  • Experience teaching soccer skills and strategies that apply to the skill level of the student-athletes preferred
  • Proven ability to exemplify the highest standard of leadership, sportsmanship and respect
  • Ability to attend all team practices and matches
  • Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage relationships at the administrative, student-athlete, and parent level The ideal candidate:
