What is an aging specialist?

An aging specialist, also known as a gerontologist or aging services professional, is someone who works with older adults to address their physical, emotional, and social needs. They may provide support in areas such as healthcare planning, social engagement, and daily living activities. Aging specialists can work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, and community agencies. Their goal is to help older adults maintain a high quality of life and independence as they age.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an aging services professional?

To thrive as an Aging Services Professional, you need a background in gerontology, social work, or healthcare, often supported by relevant degrees or certifications such as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Familiarity with case management software, patient record systems, and community resource databases is typically required. Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills set outstanding professionals apart when supporting older adults and their families. These skills and qualifications are crucial for delivering effective care, advocacy, and resource coordination for the aging population.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in the field of aging services or gerontology?

Professionals working in aging services or gerontology often encounter challenges such as addressing the complex health and social needs of older adults, managing limited resources, and supporting families through difficult transitions. They may also navigate regulatory requirements and work within interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care. Building trust with clients and advocating for their well-being, while keeping up with evolving best practices, can be both rewarding and demanding aspects of the role.

Job description

Job Description

Center:
| 4Ever Young (New Albany) - New Center Opening
Location:
| 6520 N Hamilton Rd, Westerville, OH 43081
Schedule:
| Tue-Sat, 10:00am-6:00pm
Employment:
| Full-Time (W2) - On-Site
Compensation:
| $52-$65/hr base + Commission/Performance Incentives
Ground Floor. Day One. Yours to Build.
This is a brand-new 4Ever Young opening in New Albany / Westerville, one of Central Ohio’s highest-income, fastest-growing communities. Joining at the start means you help shape the patient experience, the clinical culture, and the standards the whole team builds from.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • $52-$65/hr base + commission with meaningful upside for consultative high performers.
  • Full-spectrum model: injectables + hormone optimization + wellness - not inject-only.
  • Ground floor: join at the start and help shape the patient experience, clinical culture, and standards the whole team builds from.
  • Predictable hours: Tue-Sat, 10am-6pm. No on-call, no hospital shifts.
  • New Albany / Westerville: one of the fastest-growing, highest-income markets in Central Ohio, with strong patient demand from the start.

About 4Ever Young

4Ever Young
is a national anti-aging and wellness franchise with 100+ locations open or planned to open across the U.S. this year. The model goes well beyond a typical med spa, combining medical aesthetics (injectables, skincare) with hormone replacement therapy, IV nutrition, medical weight management, and longevity care under one roof. The result is a center where a provider can deliver real clinical value across the full patient, not just a single service line.
The New Albany location is an intentional, purpose-built opening in a high-demand market. The franchisee is a commercially focused operator who has invested significantly in building this center and is looking for a provider who matches that level of commitment.

The Role
You’ll serve as the primary injector and clinical authority from day one, delivering injectables and contributing to the full wellness offering, including hormone optimization conversations and cross-education. You must be clinically excellent and genuinely fluent in the broader 4Ever Young model. Inject-only doesn’t work here.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform neuromodulators + dermal fillers with advanced technique and strong safety judgment.
  • Lead consults: full-face assessment, treatment planning, and long-term maintenance strategy.
  • Contribute to hormone optimization and wellness conversations within scope and clinic protocols, bridging aesthetics and anti-aging for the whole patient.
  • Educate and convert patients into plans, memberships, and programs through trust-building conversations.
  • Support provider responsibilities within clinic protocols and documentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate charting and uphold a premium patient experience.
  • Partner with clinic leadership to establish consistency, outcomes, and patient retention from the ground up.

Requirements

Must-Haves
  • Active NP or PA license in good standing (Ohio-ready).
  • Hands-on, independent tox + filler experience. No train-from-scratch. You are independently injecting patients today.
  • Believe in and have a strong interest in HRT / hormone optimization. You can support patient conversations, contribute to the wellness side, and speak fluently about the model. This is a required competency, not a nice-to-have.
  • Strong consult skills - you lead treatment planning, set expectations, and secure the next step.
Also Important
  • Comfort with performance outcomes: conversion, membership attach, and retention expectations.
  • Mature clinical judgment and documentation discipline.
  • Medspa / derm / plastics background with premium patient expectations.
  • Experience with the full anti-aging stack: peptides, IV therapy, weight management, or similar.
  • Ability to establish standards and eventually mentor additional providers.
  • Local following or referral network in the Central Ohio / Columbus area is a plus.

Benefits

Compensation + Benefits
  • $52-$65/hr base commensurate with experience, plus commission and performance incentives.
  • Consistent, predictable schedule: Tue-Sat, 10am-6pm. No hospital, no on-call.
  • Full-time W2 employment with a stable, purpose-built center.
  • Ground-floor position with real influence over how the patient experience, clinical culture, and standards take shape.
  • Strong market: New Albany / Westerville is one of Central Ohio’s fastest-growing, highest-income communities, with built-in patient demand.
