Position Summary

The Wellness Coach is responsible for helping members achieve their personal health and wellness goals through coaching, education, functional assessments, and ongoing encouragement. This role focuses on improving healthspan by inspiring healthy habits, supporting lifestyle changes, and connecting members with programs that enhance physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct wellness assessments and establish individual goals with members.
  • Provide one-on-one wellness coaching and accountability.
  • Lead or coordinate wellness, fitness, and healthy aging programs.
  • Track member progress and celebrate achievements.
  • Educate members on healthy lifestyle practices, nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management.
  • Introduce members to wellness technologies and resources.
  • Collaborate with the club team to create an exceptional member experience.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in wellness, health coaching, fitness, nutrition, functional medicine, recreation, or a related field.
  • Passion for helping older adults improve their health and quality of life.
  • Excellent communication and motivational coaching skills.
  • Organized, compassionate, and able to build meaningful relationships.
  • Certification in health coaching, fitness, wellness, or related discipline preferred.
