Job description

As a Coatings Spray Technician, Weekend Nights, you will interact daily within a Painting Process Laboratory using Paint Application Equipment & Automation tools. You will ensure the safe operation of Applications Spray Equipment and Chemical Handling necessary. You will report to the Applications Supervisor and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.

No prior experience necessary. Paid training. The base salary for this position is ​$43,500 with an additional weekend premium offered.

*This shift is Friday through Monday from 7pm to 5:30am.*

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and set equipment parameters per standard documentation

  • Use computers to operate equipment, capture process settings and record results

  • Understand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately

  • Spray and test samples of paint from production and development

  • Complete the spray experiments using Robotic Equipment

  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and complete assigned safety training

  • Keep the lab clean and performing daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled 5S tasks

  • Data entry into the Application log

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Understand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately is required; the Applications Tech must be observant and accurate

  • Must be able to handle physically demanding position

  • Digitally literate
