Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2027
  • Start date: 05/17/2027
  • Assist engineers with day-to-day technical support for production and maintenance activities
  • Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Assist in developing and updating work instructions
  • Participate in process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Support small capital or continuous improvement projects, including design, planning, and execution
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and quality teams
  • Create and update technical documentation, drawings, and reports
  • Lead a process or equipment improvement project focused on increasing efficiency, reducing downtime, or improving product quality.

Internship Qualifications:
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of spring 2027 semester
  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
  • Preferred majors: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related
  • Experience with PLC Controls, Robotics, or automation
  • AutoCAD & CAM experience
