Job description

This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced SME Agile Transformation Lead to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement-helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Ideal candidates are motivated by mission impact, comfortable operating in complex stakeholder environments, and interested in building deep domain expertise while delivering capabilities with real-world national security outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an enterprise Agile transformation roadmap aligned to WDP mission objectives and delivery priorities.

  • Lead transition to a product-centric and value-stream-aligned operating model across multi-functional teams.

  • Drive integration of DevSecOps principles, Lean portfolio management, and outcome-based planning into program execution.

  • Assess current-state processes, identify transformation gaps, and implement phased change strategies without disrupting ongoing operations.

  • Partner with Government leadership and program management to align transformation objectives with mission priorities and contract performance requirements.

  • Establish Agile governance structures, metrics frameworks, and feedback loops to measure transformation progress.

  • Facilitate enterprise-level workshops, PI Planning enhancements, and cross-functional alignment sessions.

  • Develop transformation playbooks, operating models, communication strategies, and adoption roadmaps.

  • Coach senior leaders and ART-level stakeholders on Agile, Lean, and product management best practices.

  • Drive measurable improvements in delivery predictability, backlog health, flow efficiency, technical quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline and 15+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and 13+ years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale Agile transformations in complex, multi-team technology environments.

  • Experience implementing product-centric operating models and value-stream alignment strategies.

  • Experience integrating DevSecOps and Lean principles into enterprise delivery frameworks.

  • Experience working within SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks in large Federal or enterprise programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and drive organizational change across cross-functional domains.

  • Experience defining and implementing transformation metrics tied to mission impact and operational performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.

  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Agilist (SA), or equivalent scaled Agile certification.

  • Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives within DoD or Federal environments.

  • Experience implementing Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) frameworks.

  • Experience supporting cloud, data, AI/ML, or DevSecOps transformation initiatives.

  • Experience facilitating executive-level transformation workshops and strategic planning sessions.

  • Experience aligning Agile transformation with performance-based contract environments and mission-critical operational systems.
