This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Join AT&T and help shape the future of communications and technology that connect the world. We value innovators who seek to explore the unknown and challenge the status quo. Bring your bold ideas and fearless spirit to redefine connectivity and transform how people share stories and experiences. At AT&T, you won't just imagine the future-you'll build it.

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Technical Product Management to lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a large-scale Salesforce technology implementation supporting front-line experts across our Retail and Contact Center operations.

This leader will own the product vision and subsequent execution for critical capabilities that enable the sale, provisioning, service, and support of our Wireless & Broadband products. The ideal candidate combines deep technical product management expertise with strong telecommunications domain knowledge, Salesforce platform experience, and a proven track record leading high-performing product teams.

This role requires a strategic, execution-oriented product leader who can operate at both the executive and technical levels, translating business priorities into scalable platform capabilities, aligning stakeholders across business and technology organizations, and delivering measurable customer and operational outcomes.

What You'll Do:

Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Salesforce-enabled Retail & Contact Center expert experience.

  • Translate business objectives and stakeholder needs into scalable capabilities that improve customer experience, seller productivity, service efficiency, and operational performance.

  • Prioritize investments using data, customer insights, business impact, technical feasibility, and measurable outcome-based goals.

Salesforce Platform Leadership

  • Lead Salesforce and AI-enabled product capabilities across CRM, sales, order capture, service, support, automation, and customer lifecycle management.

  • Partner with architecture, engineering, operations, and business leaders to design scalable Salesforce, AI, and adjacent platform solutions that improve speed, intelligence, and decision quality.

  • Modernize and simplify platform capabilities through AI-driven automation, insights, and workflow orchestration while supporting telecom needs such as catalogs, account hierarchies, quoting, ordering, provisioning, billing integrations, and support workflows.

Execution & Delivery

  • Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, planning, execution, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with engineering, program management, UX, business operations, sales, care, and support teams to deliver high-quality capabilities on a scale.

  • Resolve ambiguity, manage tradeoffs, and ensure delivery with strong usability, reliability, performance, security, data quality, and operational readiness.

Customer & Business Impact

  • Champion customer, seller, service agent, and operations needs across product decisions and delivery priorities.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to reduce friction, improve adoption, and strengthen productivity and customer outcomes.

  • Define success metrics and drive continuous improvement using feedback, analytics, operational data, and business performance.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop product managers and product owners responsible for Salesforce and telecom platform capabilities.

  • Set a high bar for product thinking, technical fluency, stakeholder management, and execution discipline.

  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, structured decision-making, customer focus, and clear communication of strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes.

Stakeholder & Executive Communication

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders.

  • Communicate complex product and technical concepts clearly to executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.

  • Build alignment and influence decisions across sales, service, support, technology, finance, operations, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in technical product management, enterprise platforms, or large-scale digital transformation.

  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including leading product managers, product owners, or cross-functional product teams.

  • Experience with AI, automation, self-service, agent-assist, workflow orchestration, or digital customer experience capabilities.

  • Strong experience with Salesforce platforms, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Communications Cloud, CPQ, or related Salesforce ecosystem capabilities.

  • Telecommunications industry experience, ideally across sales, ordering, service delivery, customer care, support, or product lifecycle processes.

  • Proven ability to define and deliver product strategy for complex enterprise platforms used by large-scale business operations.

  • Strong technical fluency, including understanding of APIs, integrations, data models, platform architecture, workflow automation, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.

  • Demonstrated success partnering with engineering and architecture teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

  • Experience managing complex roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, stakeholder expectations, and executive-level communications.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions, measure outcomes, and improve product performance.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create clear narratives, business cases, roadmap materials, and executive updates.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience with telecom business products, consumer products, broadband, wireless, fiber, voice, managed services, or enterprise connectivity services.

  • Background working in high-scale technology organizations or product-led environments with rigorous product management practices.

  • Experience applying modern product methods such as customer discovery, experimentation, data-driven prioritization, platform product management, agile delivery, and outcome-based planning.
