Business Development Representative

Fuel the top of the sales funnel at Blayzer Digital, a boutique digital agency that's been growing SMB and mid-market businesses since 1998. You'll research prospects, build targeted outreach, and set qualified appointments that move new business forward. If you love making connections, talking about digital, and helping businesses see what's possible, this is your kind of role.

Blayzer specializes in web design, ecommerce, and digital marketing for companies across the country, all under one roof in St. Louis. Your pipeline work is what keeps our sales team focused on closing.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective clients using CRM, prospecting, and outreach tools

  • Generate new sales opportunities through cold calls, email, and social outreach

  • Qualify leads and identify the right fit for Blayzer's services

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects in our CRM

  • Set meetings and calls between prospective clients and our sales team

  • Develop long-term relationships with prospects through consistent, thoughtful follow-up

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline activity

  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and lead generation approaches

  • As product knowledge grows, support discovery calls, needs analysis, and proposal development alongside our sales and web leads

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role

  • Background in digital agency, ecommerce, or related tech/platform sales is a strong plus

  • Familiarity with digital marketing, web design, or agency services. Enough to have a credible conversation with an SMB owner

  • Experience with CRM platforms; Zoho CRM experience is a plus

  • Comfortable with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Strong communication skills by phone and email

  • Self-starter who can manage a pipeline and prioritize outreach without heavy oversight

  • Organized with consistent follow-through. Prospects don't fall through the cracks on your watch

  • Collaborative. You work well with a small, experienced team
