The Program Leader is responsible for helping to maintain a safe, positive, and enriching After School Program environment; ensuring a high level of program quality and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants. The Program Leader will serve as a positive role model to K - 8th grade youth within the mission of the Valley Life Charter School standards and expectations with emphasis on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and leadership skills

Part-time/ Hourly position Shifts are 2:30pm to 5:30 M, T, W, F, and 1:00pm to 5:30 pm on Thursdays Some earlier shifts maybe required on early release days. Akers Campus TK - 3rd Walnut Campus 4th - 8th Job Summary: The After-School Instructional Aide assists in the implementation of educational and recreational activities for students in the after-school program. This role supports the lead instructors in creating a safe, engaging, and productive environment for students to complete homework, participate in enrichment activities, and build social skills.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Instructional Support Assist students with homework and academic tasks. Provide one-on-one and small group guidance to reinforce learning concepts.

Help students build effective study skills and habits. 2. Activity Coordination Plan and prepare materials for learning activities.

Lead discussions and facilitate learning experiences. Support students during physical activities, arts and crafts, and other program elements. 3.

Student Supervision Create and maintain a safe, positive environment. Oversee students during arrivals, departures, and transitions between activities. Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the lead instructor.
