Work Environment

This role predominantly operates in a remote setting, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere while still engaging with clients through virtual means. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, participating in regular case conferences and clinical supervision to enhance client care. While the primary work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet client needs and accommodate scheduling demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify and understand clients' mental health requirements and challenges.
  • Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet individual therapeutic goals, utilizing relevant methodologies and tools.
  • Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, applying appropriate therapeutic interventions to support a diverse clientele.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure holistic client care and effective case management.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records adhering to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring comprehensive documentation of treatment progress.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in clinical supervision sessions and case conferences to stay current in best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will serve a varied client population, addressing a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, requiring strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust, and adapt therapeutic approaches to meet varied needs.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in conducting individual and group therapy within mental health contexts.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to treatment strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience
