IT Support Specialist - Cybersecurity | Permanent | No Sponsorship Available | On-Site

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

  • Monitor and analyze security events using tools like CrowdStrike Falcon to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Conduct regular security assessments, patch reviews, and vulnerability management activities
  • Participate in incident response activities and post-incident reviews to strengthen security posture
  • Support end-user technical issues across corporate and retail locations as part of the broader IT support team
  • Document security procedures, configurations, and systems to ensure continuity and cross-training
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PCI compliance and data privacy requirements are met

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

  • Associate degree in cybersecurity, information technology, networking, or related technical field
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in information security or cybersecurity
  • CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA A+ certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat detection tools, and the current threat landscape
  • Experience in a Windows-based environment
