Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various culinary environments such as catering, dietary departments, food management, and leadership roles within the food industry.
Responsibilities- Prepairing food daily as outlined on weekly menu plan
- Altering or adapting recipes to accomodate special dietary needs of residents or improve recipes.
- Preparing meats for storage and portion control upon deliver and ensure proper storage of all delivered foods and ingedients.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe kitchen environment.
- Ensuring proper handling, labeling, and storage of food for infection control.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Coordinating and participating in serving food.
- Monitoring portion control to meed redidents' requests and minimize waste.
- successful completion of all ongoing education requirements.
Requirements- Proven experience working in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or food service management setting
- Excellent leadership skills to guide and motivate kitchen staff effectively
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
