This remote position offers flexibility while maintaining the ability to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Our outpatient focus ensures that your contributions are directly impacting the lives of individuals and families in need. Expect a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the possibility of adjusting hours based on client needs, providing a perfect work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments by employing evidence-based practices to identify individual client needs and formulate personalized treatment plans. Your assessments will play a key role in defining therapy goals and strategies.
• Implement and provide therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other recognized methodologies tailored to the specific challenges faced by each client.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy for effective patient tracking and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse treatment team to facilitate an integrated approach to mental health care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients through professional consultations and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Regularly educate clients and their families on mental health issues, helping them understand treatment choices, available resources, and coping strategies that are vital to the healing process.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care to continually enhance the quality of the services provided to clients.

Your work as a mental health therapist will involve a wide range of clients, including children, teenagers, and adults grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in the state of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A deep understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, which will guide your tailored approach to client care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build trusting relationships with clients and effectively collaborate with team members.
• Exemplary problem-solving and critical thinking skills, allowing you to devise creative and patient-centered solutions during therapy sessions.
• A commitment to working within a collaborative team environment, valuing and respecting the diverse contributions of your colleagues.

• Prior experience working in outpatient mental health settings and familiarity with a range of treatment modalities.
• Practical knowledge of community resources and support systems to assist clients beyond therapy sessions.
• Previous experience with case consultations and peer reviews, contributing to shared learning and improved care practices.
