In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while adhering to our business hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, using standardized tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and preferences of each client, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions for mood disorders.
• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, helping them navigate treatment options and promote self-care strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress through active engagement and regular feedback sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and evidence-based practices related to mood disorders, integrating new findings into treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development workshops, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Advocate for clients within the community, working towards destigmatization of mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness.

You will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. This role requires sensitivity and understanding, as clients may come from diverse backgrounds and may present different cultural perspectives on mental health.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments for mood disorders such as CBT and DBT.
• A sound understanding of psychopharmacology and collaboration strategies with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
• Proven experience in achieving successful outcomes in clinical settings dealing with mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

• Prior experience in a community health clinic or similar setting, demonstrating ability to manage a caseload effectively.
• Experience advocating for clients and working on de-stigmatization initiatives within the community.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interventions and progress.

• Annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
