• Utilize your educational background and clinical expertise to independently assess and diagnose patients’ psychosocial needs, employing a comprehensive approach to treatment.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that focus on their specific goals and recovery needs, employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, routinely adjusting strategies based on patient feedback and treatment outcomes to ensure effective care delivery.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals within the organization and external providers, ensuring a multidisciplinary team approach that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of clients.
• Track and monitor patient progress meticulously, using both in-person and virtual consultations to ensure transparency in treatment goals and timely adjustments as needed.
• Oversee psychotropic medication management as prescribed, focusing on monitoring adherence, evaluating side effects, and assessing treatment efficacy to optimize patient health.

This role focuses predominantly on clients experiencing substance use challenges, often during detoxification. Your expertise will assist individuals in navigating the complexities of mental health and addiction recovery, providing therapeutic interventions that foster resilience, reduce anxiety, and encourage sustainable recovery practices. You'll play a fundamental role in helping patients regain control of their lives, promoting long-term wellness and reintegration into society.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• At least one year of direct clinical experience as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating proficiency in delivering mental health care.

• Experience working in detox or addiction recovery settings is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and build rapport with diverse populations in a compassionate and culturally sensitive manner.
