Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering essential services to students. You will work alongside a dedicated team of mental health professionals, including psychologists and primary care providers, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where collaboration is encouraged to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your education, training, and clinical experience to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses based on patient interactions.
• Collaborate with students to develop individually tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation, to facilitate positive behavioral changes.
• Maintain regular coordination with a multidisciplinary team, including other mental health clinicians and primary caregivers, to deliver a comprehensive and integrated approach to student care.
• Monitor treatment progress through systematic tracking of responses to interventions, adjusting treatment strategies as needed whether through in-person or virtual consults.
• Assist in coordinating psychotropic medication management in partnership with medical providers, focusing on medication adherence, side effects, and overall treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on serving students in a school environment, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Your position will play a pivotal role in enhancing the emotional and psychological well-being of young individuals by providing them with the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating competence in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a school setting or with a student population is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices specific to child and adolescent mental health.
• Experience with developing and implementing treatment plans addressing the unique needs of varied populations.

Compensation and Benefits
