Location: Salisbury, MD
Program: Mitchellโ€™s Martial Arts Child Care Center
Schedule: Afternoon / After-School Hours
Mitchellโ€™s Martial Arts Child Care Center is looking for a School-Age Qualified After-School Teacher to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with elementary-aged children in a structured, active, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage school-age children during after-school hours
  • Assist with homework and educational activities
  • Lead structured play, enrichment activities, and character-building programs
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff
Qualifications:
  • Meets Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requirements for school-age child care
    • Growth and Development
    • School Age Methods and Materials
    • 9 Hour Communitcation Course

  • Experience working with school-age children preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
