Job description

Overview

Responsible for coordinating field personnel, equipment, and service providers to support safe and efficient production operations. The Dispatcher serves as the primary point of contact between field operations, maintenance personnel, contractors, and supervisors to ensure work is scheduled, prioritized, and completed in a timely manner. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced operating environment.

Responsibilities
  • Dispatch crews, equipment, and materials to production, drilling, and facility locations.
  • Monitor field activities and adjust schedules based on operational priorities.
  • Maintain communication with Lease Operators, Mechanics, Production Foremen, and Operations personnel.
  • Track work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Respond to operational issues including equipment failures, outages, emergencies, and weather-related events.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics for personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, reports, and operational records.
  • Assist with after-hours and weekend callouts as required.
  • Work closely with HSE personnel to ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Previous dispatch, logistics, scheduling, or oil & gas operations experience required.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing operational demands.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 
  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
