Job description

About the company
Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds.
We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.
Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we're backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more.
We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue to grow the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.
About the role
We're looking for an Affiliate Manager to build and scale relationships with affiliates, creators, traders, and key opinion leaders across the global crypto ecosystem, supporting the growth of Ondo's products and mindshare.
You will own the strategy and day-to-day operation of our affiliate and KOL programs-from identifying and recruiting high-potential partners to negotiating terms, launching campaigns, managing relationships, and measuring performance.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who combines strong relationship-building skills with commercial judgment, crypto-native market knowledge, and a rigorous approach to performance. Working closely with Growth, Content, Product, Business Development, Legal, and regional teams, you will build a scalable partner network that drives measurable awareness, acquisition, trading activity, and retention.
Responsibilities
  • Own the global affiliate and KOL program and strategy, with clear goals across awareness, qualified acquisition, trading activity, retention, and return on investment.
  • Identify, evaluate, recruit, and manage high-potential affiliates, creators, traders, educators, and community leaders across priority platforms, audiences, and regions.
  • Develop distinct partner and campaign strategies supporting Ondo's narrative and product initiatives, reflecting their different audiences, use cases, product mechanics, and regulatory considerations.
  • Negotiate compensation, referral structures, deliverables, exclusivity, and performance incentives while managing the complete partner lifecycle from outreach through activation, review, and renewal.
  • Design and execute campaigns around product launches, new markets, trading competitions, incentives, partnerships, and company milestones, working with Content and Design to provide effective messaging and creative assets.
  • Partner with Product and Growth to improve referral journeys, tracking, attribution, and conversion, using performance data to optimize partner selection, incentives, campaign design, and budget allocation.
  • Establish scalable reporting, partner tiers, playbooks, workflows, and governance while coordinating with Legal and Compliance on agreements, disclosures, claims, geographic restrictions, and partner conduct.
Requirements
  • Proven experience building or managing affiliate, creator, influencer, ambassador, or KOL programs for a crypto exchange, trading platform, brokerage, DeFi protocol, fintech company, or comparable digital product.
  • Strong knowledge of the crypto creator and trading ecosystem, including how different audiences discover, evaluate, and engage with financial products.
  • Good understanding of tokenized stocks and perpetual futures, including leverage, liquidity, market structure, trading risks, and the needs of investors and active traders.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, recruit, negotiate with, activate, and retain valuable affiliates or KOLs across multiple channels or regions.
  • A track record of delivering measurable acquisition, funded-account, trading, revenue, or retention outcomes through partner-led campaigns.
  • Strong commercial and analytical judgment, with experience evaluating audience quality, attribution, acquisition cost, fraud risk, partner economics, and return on investment.
  • Excellent relationship-management, negotiation, organization, and cross-functional execution skills, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with affiliate disclosures, financial promotions, geographic restrictions, tokenized securities, and leveraged-product marketing is strongly preferred; international experience, additional languages, and established industry relationships are a plus.
What we offer
  • Competitive compensation including but not limited to salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) - We are well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation.
  • Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO).
  • Remote-first team across many countries - You will be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices.
  • A+ colleagues - Our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Coinbase, Circle, Uniswap.
  • Best-in-class investors - We are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures.
