Job description

About Us:
Comfrt is one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands, dedicated to blending mental wellness, inclusivity, and elevated comfort into every piece we create. Our mission goes beyond clothing — we strive to build a community where everyone feels supported and seen.
About the Job:
Comfrt is looking for an Affiliate Specialist to own our Affiliate Network (CJ) end-to-end. You'll be
the day-to-day operator and strategic driver of our affiliate channel — managing agency
relationships, building a high-quality publisher portfolio, securing premium placements, and
scaling program performance. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the details
while keeping an eye on growth.
Responsibilities:
Program Management
  • Own the Commission Junction platform: campaign setup, tracking, creative assets, commission structures, and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our affiliate agency partner(s), running weekly syncs, setting priorities, and holding them accountable to performance targets.
  • Monitor program health across key metrics — EPC, conversion rate, ROAS, incrementality — and surface insights and recommendations to leadership.
Publisher Development
  • Vet, recruit, and onboard new publishers aligned with Comfrt's brand and customer profile (content, loyalty, CLOs, and sub-affiliate channels).
  • Audit the existing publisher mix regularly; deactivate underperformers and prioritize partners driving quality traffic.
  • Build and maintain strong publisher relationships to secure editorial features, dedicated sends, and high-visibility placements.
Placements & Activations
  • Negotiate and execute paid placements, newsletter features, and promotional integrations with top-tier publishers.
  • Collaborate with brand and creative teams to develop co-branded assets, content articles, and offers that resonate with affiliate audiences.
  • Manage a promotional calendar, coordinating affiliate-exclusive deals and seasonal pushes across the publisher base.
Growth & Optimization
  • Identify gaps and opportunities within affiliate networks — new publisher categories, commission incentives, seasonality plays — and build a roadmap to capture them.
  • Test commission structures, landing pages, and creative to continuously improve conversion and program efficiency.
  • Contribute to budget planning and forecasting for the affiliate channel.
Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience in affiliate marketing, with hands-on ownership of affiliate agencies like CJ
  • Solid understanding of affiliate economics: EPC, commission tiers, attribution windows, incrementality.
  • Experience managing or coordinating with affiliate agencies and/or external partners.
  • Proven ability to recruit, vet, and grow a publisher base — not just maintain one.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable pulling and interpreting data in affiliate networks, BI tools, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a compelling publisher pitch and present results to leadership, as well as negotiate rates with publishers
  • Organized and self-directed; you can manage multiple publisher relationships and timelines without dropping balls
  • Ability to report on performance and share out insights crossfunctionally
  • Experience with Asana, issuing tickets for creatives requested by publishers
  • Responsive to emails and Slack messages
  • Familiar with Google Sheets
  • Insight into creatives (ad copy, statics) and what drives performance within brand guidelines
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with additional affiliate networks (Impact, ShareASale, Rakuten).
  • Understanding of MTA measurement solutions (Northbeam)
  • Experience with UTM set up and tracking
  • Background in DTC or e-commerce, particularly in fashion apparel or home
What Success Looks Like in One Year:
  • Publisher portfolio audited, cleaned up, and expanded with quality partners across priority categories.
  • Agency relationship structured with clear KPIs and regular reporting cadence.
  • Placement strategy in place with recurring features secured at top publishers.
  • Program revenue and ROAS trending up quarter-over-quarter.

Why Join Comfrt?

  • Be part of a purpose-driven company that’s shaping the future of comfort and mental wellness.
  • Work in a supportive, creative environment where your ideas and growth are valued.
  • Enjoy Comfrt benefits such as generous paid time off, company-covered health insurance, 5% 401k match, and discounts on all Comfrt products!
  • Join a passionate team making an impact on exciting projects, all while enjoying the flexibility and collaborative support of a fully remote environment.

Comfort is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
