Summary
DAS Services is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency Engineer with experience planning, scoping, development, design, direction, management, and coordination of major projects related to Cellular system technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Manage the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, design, direction and management of major projects related to technologies in the Cellular System at MuTC
โ€ข Overall RF Spectrum Engineering and management at MuTC and Camp Atterbury, IN with respect to the MuTC Multidomain operations
โ€ข Coordinate spectrum request through state and federal entities
โ€ข Conduct and monitor spectrum baselines, monitor during TTE
โ€ข Local deconfliction for TTE
Required Qualifications:
โ€ข Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance
โ€ข Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Spectrum Management Certifications, or a related discipline - OR - Have 5+ years' experience in Cellular Systems Operations, Radio Frequencies (RF), and Spectrum Management
โ€ข Possess experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G technology operations
โ€ข Possess experience with cellular frequencies and coordinating with license owners
โ€ข Possess experience with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Experimental Special Temporary Authority Licensing Applications, or other FCC licensing applications
โ€ข Possess experience coordinating and deconflicting spectrum with the customer, to facilitate training objectives
โ€ข Knowledge of the operational and performance characteristics of telecommunication equipment and transmission media, and of the relationship of component parts of communications systems
โ€ข Possess practical knowledge of commonly applied telecommunications approaches, methods, and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
โ€ข Experience supporting physical infrastructures, telecommunications and radio frequency networks, and the electromagnetic spectrum
โ€ข Experience working in a Cyber Range, simulating real-world environments across physical, logical, and cyber-persona layers, which can be used for research, development, testing, training, and evaluation
