Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Platform Developer to support customer data enablement, data ingestion, identity resolution, audience segmentation, and platform integrations within Adobe Experience Platform.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Platform, XDM schemas, datasets, data flows, SQL, APIs, identity resolution, audience activation, and Adobe ecosystem tools such as Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.

This role will work closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, Data Governance, Privacy, and Risk teams to build scalable, compliant, and reliable AEP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines into Adobe Experience Platform from digital channels, enterprise systems, and third-party data sources.
  • Create and manage XDM schemas, datasets, and data flows to support reusable customer data models.
  • Ensure customer profile, behavioral, and interaction data is accurate, timely, and usable for analytics, reporting, and personalization.
  • Implement identity resolution strategies to unify customer interactions across channels while following privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements.
  • Configure identity rules, merge policies, and real-time customer profile settings within AEP.
  • Build, test, validate, and maintain audience segments for personalization, engagement, education, and experience optimization use cases.
  • Enable compliant audience activation to Adobe and enterprise platforms.
  • Integrate AEP with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Apply data governance labels, access controls, consent policies, and lineage documentation within AEP.
  • Monitor ingestion jobs, datasets, profiles, and audience performance to ensure platform stability and data quality.
  • Troubleshoot data issues related to pipelines, dashboards, experiments, reporting, or audience activation.
  • Document schema design, data flows, key fields, data lineage, and root-cause findings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into scalable AEP technical solutions.

Required Skills

  • 8+ Year of experience with Adobe Experience Platform
  • Experience with XDM schemas, datasets, data flows, and Real-Time Customer Profile
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience working with REST APIs and platform integrations
  • Understanding of identity resolution, merge policies, audience segmentation, and activation
  • Experience with Adobe ecosystem tools such as Adobe Analytics, CJA, Adobe Target, and Adobe Journey Optimizer
  • Knowledge of data governance, consent enforcement, privacy, and access control concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot data quality, ingestion, and reporting issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams
