They typically have advanced knowledge in areas such as wills, trusts, tax planning, and probate processes. AEPs often hold certifications and have substantial experience in law, accounting, insurance, or financial planning. Their expertise ensures that clients' assets are protected and distributed effectively, often minimizing taxes and legal complications. Working with an AEP can provide peace of mind and clarity in complex estate matters.

Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce, sales analytics tools, and relevant industry certifications can be essential. Balancing these demands requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. AEPs must also adapt quickly to shifting project scopes and coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, such as engineers, biologists, and agency representatives. Proactive communication and solid time management are key to ensuring that deliverables are met and potential issues are addressed early.
