Job Summary:

The Project Manager at WT Group AEC is an architecturally trained professional with eight or more years of professional experience, a professional degree in architecture from an accredited program, and licensure is preferred but not required. He/She manages multiple small/medium projects, coordinates architectural project production with the assigned project architect and estimates scope of work. Has full responsibility for managing the overall success of multiple small to midsize projects, including the preparation of strategic plans for project success. They are responsible for the coordination of administrative project efforts to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the clientโ€™s satisfaction. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide project leadership by applying financial acumen to meet client goals
  • Work with all WT Practive Areas to develop business, prepare proposals, and โ€œfrontโ€ for the firm
  • Perform routine and timely invoicing on all assigned projects.
  • Drive permitting and zoning processes and success.
  • Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path; provide and acquire information from PrincipalInCharge and Principal
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and costeffective manner
  • Prepare/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials
  • Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent organization and communication; can build rapport easily with both clients and team
  • Proficient in the use and application of project technology as required for assigned projects and a willingness to learn new technology.
  • Understanding of typical project controls such as ERP and CRM systems.
  • Writing proposals
  • Professional demeaner to thoroughly present projects to a range of professionals including clients, departmental leaders, and Clevel management
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in architecture, engineering, organizational management, business administration or related field required.
  • Minimum (8) years of direct architectural experience with a minimum of (3) years of project management experience.
