Overview
Paramount is seeking a highly organized, results-focused Senior Manager, Advertising Traffic to support the end-to-end execution of promotional advertising campaigns across Paramount's ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in ensuring campaigns are properly trafficked, optimized, and delivered on time, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to meet brand, content, and audience objectives.
The Senior Manager will lead day-to-day campaign operations, oversee workflow execution, and manage a team of campaign managers. This role requires deep expertise in advertising operations, strong project and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance operational rigor with flexibility in a dynamic environment.
This role reports to the Vice President, Advertising Traffic, Paramount Advertising and is remote.
 
Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Content, Product, Creative, Analytics, and Strategy teams to ensure promotional campaigns are executed precisely and efficiently.
  • Serve as a primary operational point of contact for promotional ad traffic, aligning stakeholders on timelines, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to address issues, manage workflows, and ensure campaign readiness across platforms.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Analytics teams to activate defined target audiences for promotional campaigns across platforms.
  • Support the implementation of audience strategies by ensuring targeting is executed correctly and consistently across markets.
  • Monitor audience performance and partner with analytics teams to surface insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Translate campaign priorities and marketing objectives into executable operational plans.
  • Support promotional advertising strategies by managing campaign setup, timelines, and execution details across platforms and regions.
  • Ensure campaigns adhere to platform requirements, creative specifications, and regional considerations.
  • Oversee campaign setup and execution from trafficking through launch, including targeting, creative rotation, scheduling, and delivery validation.
  • Maintain and enhance operational workflows, documentation, and QA processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Troubleshoot and address campaign delivery issues, escalating risks and blockers as needed.
  • Track campaign delivery and performance against established KPIs and benchmarks.
  • Partner with Analytics and Reporting teams to review dashboards, delivery reports, and performance trends.
  • Use data to inform optimizations, identify recurring issues, and improve future executions.
  • Prepare and share performance updates with internal partners and leadership.
  • Manage and mentor a team of advertising traffic and campaign management professionals. Assigning work, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring balanced workloads across the team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and development support.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on execution excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to tools, workflows, and documentation.
  • Stay informed on ad tech trends, platform updates, and evolving best practices in promotional advertising operations.
  • Support testing and adoption of new tools or approaches that improve campaign execution and operational scalability.
Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in advertising operations, ad traffic, or promotional campaign management within media, entertainment, or digital advertising environments.
  • Experience supporting cross-platform and multi-market campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring teams.
  • Strong collaborator able to navigate matrixed organizations and work successfully with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect campaign objectives to executional details.
  • Experience using performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor delivery and guide optimizations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns, deadlines, and priorities across stakeholders and time zones.
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting status updates, insights, and recommendations to internal partners and leaders.
  • Solid working knowledge of ad-serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager (GAM/DFP) and FreeWheel.
  • Knowledge of digital ad tech ecosystems and creative trafficking workflows.
  • Ability to partner successfully with technical and product teams to address operational challenges.
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
  • Experience with programmatic advertising and third-party ad technologies (DCM, Celtra, Clipcentric, etc.
  • Knowledge of rich media, video formats, HTML5, and basic web composition.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Proficient organizational skills with the ability to manage complex workflows and competing priorities.
