The Role at a Glance
Lincoln Financial's Corporate Advertising team is seeking an Advertising Assistant Account Executive to support the planning, development, and execution of consumer and B2B advertising initiatives. This role partners closely with internal teams and external agencies to help deliver integrated campaigns that build awareness, drive engagement, and support business goals.
This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone passionate about advertising, with prior advertising agency internship or early-career experience. This is not a sales role.
What you'll be doing
• Developing foundational knowledge of the advertising process, including strategy development, creative concepting, production, and media execution.
• Supporting the execution of integrated advertising plans across consumer and business lines, contributing to campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
• Partnering with Lincoln's creative agency to support the development and delivery of campaign assets aligned to strategic objectives.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging and creative are aligned with broader marketing priorities and business goals.
• Coordinating with internal and external media teams to deliver campaign assets that meet specifications, timelines, and compliance requirements.
• Assisting in campaign measurement and reporting by analyzing performance data and contributing to recommendations for optimization.
• Supporting additional marketing initiatives, including website updates, internal communications, competitive analysis, and industry trend monitoring.
• Helping manage trafficking of digital creative assets, ensuring accuracy across formats, specifications, tagging, and deployment.
• Ensuring all advertising materials comply with legal, regulatory, and brand standards.
• Maintaining knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assessing the impact, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
• Promoting and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
• Performing and delivering on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge.
• Identifying and communicating to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality.
What we're looking for
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
• 1-3+ years of experience in an advertising agency or corporate marketing environment, including internships
• Exposure to or understanding of the creative development process required; familiarity with media planning and execution is a plus

The pay range for this position is $55,700 - $100,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
