The Team
Advertising data analytics team empowers the intelligence and efficiency of Arity Marketing Platform, which enables marketers to find their best customers wherever they are in their journey. Our goal is to empower marketers to reach prospects and display relevant messaging based on how, when, and where they drive. The team is responsible for optimizing the in-house marketing platform for advertisers and publishers, as well as our revenue, throughout all funnels. To achieve this, not only do we need to look for inefficiencies on the platform including individual campaigns, but also how to grow and scale the platform to gain more revenue. This means we need to find a cost-effective way to rapidly deploy, test and iterate algorithms on our platform. This team is also fully integrated within a cross-functional scrum structure including product owners, software engineers, account management/AdOps team, and other talents to collaborate with to achieve the same business goals
The Role
As a Senior Data Analyst for ad operations, you are responsible for monitoring and optimizing our digital advertising campaigns on Arity marketing platform. You will closely work with the account management/AdOps team to understand the campaign goals and dig into the data to look for insights to make recommendation to optimize the campaign. You will design A/B testing to measure the effectiveness of the optimization. You also need to work with data scientists to provide operational insights for building automated solutions using machine learning and AI algorithms so that you can leverage them in running the campaign wherever necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day looks like:

  • Monitor and optimize programmatic campaigns using real-time and historical data signals

  • Diagnose performance issues across supply, demand, and delivery systems; recommend targeted interventions

  • Design and evaluate A/B and multivariate experiments, integrating sensor-based features into test frameworks

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AdOps, Product, and Data Science to operationalize optimization strategies at scale

  • Contribute to the development of automated decisioning systems for campaign management (e.g., budget allocation, bidding adjustments)

  • Partner with data scientists to translate business problems into ML-driven solutions (e.g., propensity models, bidding optimization, segmentation)

  • Drive the evolution from manual campaign management to automated, intelligence-driven optimization systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, campaign optimization, or programmatic advertising

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for large-scale data analysis

  • Solid understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem and KPIs (CPM, CPC, win rate, CPA, ROAS)

  • Experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B testing, causal inference methods)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills with a focus on driving measurable outcomes

  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and collaborating on production ML systems

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery) and data pipeline development

  • Experience building semantic layers or analytical models for scalable reporting

  • Experience leveraging AI-powered coding assistants to enhance productivity

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 75,100.00 - 126,325.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
